Platinum Jubilee Certificate
Cake Competition
The Cake Competition will take place in the Village Hall and is open to all non-professional bakers. There are six categories:
- Classic Victoria Sandwich
- Allotment vegetable cake
- Children’s category: age 11 and under mini-cake decorating, age 12-16 6 cup cakes, any style
- Cake fit for the Queen
- Chocolate – any style
- Vegan or gluten free
Cakes need to be handed in by 13:30, judging will take place at 14:00, the results will be announced at 15:00 and the winning cakes displayed.
The overall winner receives an afternoon tea for two at Little Heath Nursery.
Entry is free.
Dog Show
The Big Jubilee Lunch
The Big Jubilee Lunch is a national event to encourage communities to celebrate their connections and get to know each other a little bit better. This won’t be organised as part of the Potten End Festival but please feel free to use either Spencer Holland or The Green for your local neighbourhood event – first come, first served!
