It’s that time of year when potholes often appear in roads in and around our parish. Luckily never as bad as the one in the photo! If you see a pothole please report it to Hertfordshire County Council. The process is really simple and it’s easy to see if it has already been reported. You can find a link on our useful links page or do so directly from here. The same link can be used to report fallen trees, street lights not working and problems with pavements.
A new bench has been donated to the parish by the family of Cherry and Keith Simpson and placed on Potten End Village Green to replace an old log seat. Cherry and Keith moved to the parish in 1975 and lived happily here for 41 years.
A police surgery will be held outside Potten End Village shop between 13.00 and 13.30 on Friday 27th January. If you have concerns about your security or any other matters this is an opportunity for a face to face talk with a member of the Berkhamsted and Tring Safer Neighbourhood Team. If you would like to read the full police report, which includes details of crimes in Berkhamsted, you can do so here.
